Blake H. Gerow is an associate attorney at Hall Estill, focusing on energy law, complex commercial issues, trusts and estates litigation, and oil and gas matters. Blake earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2020, graduating with highest honors. During law school, he was the Executive Notes Editor for the Energy Law Journal and served as Vice President of the Renewable Energy and Environmental Law Society. He was also awarded the Foundation of the Energy Law Journal Award for Editorial Excellence and earned a Certificate in Sustainable Energy and Resources Law. Before law school, Blake completed his B.A. in Sociology-Criminology/Pre-Law at the University of Oklahoma in 2017.
Since joining Hall Estill in 2020, Blake has developed a robust energy and litigation practice focused on complex commercial disputes, trusts and estates litigation, and oil and gas regulatory matters. Leveraging deep experience in energy law, he helps businesses and individuals navigate high-stakes legal challenges, maintain compliance with evolving industry regulations, and protect their interests in litigation and regulatory enforcement actions.
Blake is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. His litigation and energy law expertise has earned him recognition as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star in General Litigation.
In addition to his legal work, Blake H. Gerow is actively involved in professional and community organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter, is a Young Professionals in Energy member, and volunteers at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.
