William O. “BILL” James

William O. “Bill” James, Jr. is a co-founder of James Law Firm and a highly respected criminal defense attorney with more than 28 years of experience. He is recognized for his skilled representation in serious felony cases, white-collar crime, and appeals, earning a reputation for tenacity, legal acumen, and commitment to protecting clients’ rights.

Mr. James earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1994. He also holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Banking from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, awarded in 1991. He is admitted to practice in Arkansas, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.

Mr. James’s leadership and service to the legal community include roles as president of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, president of the Pulaski County Bar Association, and board member for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
