William (Bill) Dolan

William (Bill) Dolan, Esq., is the President of Dolan Law LLC and a practicing attorney focused on corporate/business law, real estate, and private lending matters. Before entering legal practice, he founded and managed several start-ups in lending, title, and settlement services, as well as real estate. This background gives him practical insight into business operations and transactions. His work centers on helping clients structure entities, manage deals, and address legal issues with clear guidance and responsive service for diverse business and property matters.

Bill earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law—Newark, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served on the Law Review and the Moot Court Board. He also interned for the Honorable Novalyn L. Winfield at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. In addition, he worked as a research assistant and teaching associate in the Legal Research and Writing department, strengthening his legal analysis and writing skills through practical academic and courtroom-related experience.

Bill has helped form thousands of business entities, including LLCs, corporations, and business trusts. His work ranges from assisting start-ups with limited budgets to restructuring large portfolios of business assets. He regularly drafts agreements, negotiates transactions, and advises clients as outside in-house counsel when ongoing legal guidance is needed. He also represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in real estate and financing matters, helping clients complete property purchases, sales, and commercial lending transactions while reducing risk and supporting long-term growth.

In 2020, he launched Esquire Advice, a YouTube channel that explains LLC, corporate, real estate, and private lending topics for the public. He frequently speaks for the Delaware Real Estate Investors Association and has presented seminars for Certified Public Accountants and small business programs.
