About
Wilfred C. Driscoll, Jr. is the founder of Driscoll Family Law, serving clients throughout Bristol County and Southeastern Massachusetts. After more than twenty-five years as a senior partner at one of the largest law firms in Bristol County, he opened his own solo practice in 2002 to provide accessible, client-focused legal representation.
Wilfred earned his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in 1976 after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Stonehill College in 1973. He later attended the National Criminal Defense College in 2010, further strengthening his trial advocacy skills and courtroom experience.
Throughout his long legal career, Wilfred has gained extensive trial court experience in both civil and criminal matters. He is known for being prepared, focused, and effective in court, and for guiding clients through complex legal processes with clarity, patience, and attention to detail.
Wilfred’s practice focuses primarily on family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce, child custody, property division, and divorce mediation. He also represents clients in estate planning, estate litigation, guardianship, criminal defense, real estate, personal injury, and bankruptcy matters.
Wilfred has served in numerous court-appointed and professional roles, including Commissioner to Qualify Public Officers, Court Master in Massachusetts Probate Court, Guardian ad Litem, and certified divorce mediator. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in real estate and legal fee matters before Massachusetts courts.
Wilfred C. Driscoll, Jr. has been admitted to practice in Massachusetts, in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit since 1977. He remains committed to providing personal service, direct communication, and dependable legal advocacy to every client he represents.
