Jill MacDonald

Jill MacDonald is a trial attorney at Bellotti Law Group, P.C., where she focuses her practice on family law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. She is known for her tenacious advocacy, courtroom preparedness, and ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients across Massachusetts through both litigation and negotiation.

Jill earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2011, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her undergraduate education at Curry College in 2007, also graduating summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in business management and criminal justice, establishing a strong academic foundation for trial advocacy.

Jill has successfully represented clients throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Middlesex, and Essex counties and has tried cases in nearly every court in Massachusetts. Her litigation experience spans criminal and civil trials, where she is recognized for strategic case preparation, effective courtroom presence, and skilled negotiation.

Prior to joining Bellotti Law Group, Jill worked at a boutique litigation firm in Boston and served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. In that role, she earned recognition for her trial work and professional excellence inside and outside the courtroom.

While attending law school, Jill worked as an Investigator with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, assisting Bar Counsel in prosecuting disciplinary matters involving attorney misconduct. Earlier in her career, she gained practical legal experience working as a paralegal and legal secretary at law firms in Quincy and Boston.

Jill MacDonald is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Norfolk Bar Association. She continues to provide diligent, results-driven representation while maintaining a strong commitment to professionalism, preparation, and client-focused advocacy at Bellotti Law Group.
