Whitney B. Warnick

Whitney B. Warnick brings more than five decades of legal experience to Albright Stoddard Warnick & Albright. His practice spans a wide range of legal areas, including bankruptcy law, litigation and appeals, family law, estate and trust administration, and real estate. Known for his precise advocacy and deep understanding of complex legal issues, he has consistently guided clients through high-stakes disputes and sensitive family matters.

Mr. Warnick earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law in 1973 after completing his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 1970. He later taught Business Law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1975 to 1978. Admitted to multiple courts, including the U.S. Tax Court and the Court of Military Appeals, his broad licensure supports his comprehensive practice.

Mr. Warnick began his legal career serving as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, where he built a foundation in military and federal legal systems. Throughout his private practice, Mr. Warnick has represented prominent clients such as McKesson Drug Company, U.S. Bank, and the Resolution Trust Corporation. His notable casework includes Gemma v. Gemma, an influential Nevada decision. His representation spans from high-net-worth estate planning to complex creditor bankruptcy litigation.

Mr. Warnick’s long-standing membership in the State Bar of Nevada and Utah State Bar reflects a career rooted in professionalism and ethics. He is also an active member of the Clark County Bar Association. Mr. Warnick has consistently provided pro bono legal services, advocating for clients unable to pay and supporting Nevada Legal Services.
