Weston earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy(pre-law) from Idaho State University. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the College of Law at the University of Idaho, where he built a strong legal foundation. During law school, he served as a Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review.
Weston graduated from law school in 2022 and was admitted to practice in Idaho’s State Courts and the United States District Court of Idaho. He is also a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association, reflecting his active connection to the legal profession.
Weston focuses his practice on family law, including matters involving divorce, custody, and parental rights. He understands that these cases can affect every part of a client’s life. His approach is centered on reducing confusion, lowering stress, and presenting each client’s position with care and preparation.
Weston has also contributed to important appellate work. In Doe I v. John Doe, 566 P.3d 409 (2025), he worked with a former colleague on a case involving wrongful parental-rights termination. His role included legal briefing and second-chairing oral arguments before the Idaho Supreme Court.
Weston received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his academic efforts during law school. That recognition reflects his commitment to careful study and legal writing. In practice, he brings that same attention to detail to clients who need practical answers and steady representation.
