Wendy S. Meadows is a Maryland family law attorney whose practice focuses on mediation, divorce, child advocacy, and alternative dispute resolution. With nearly two decades of experience, she helps families address difficult transitions with empathy, clarity, and practical guidance. Wendy earned her B.A. in English, cum laude, from Franklin and Marshall College and later received her J.D., cum laude, from the Washington College of Law at American University. During law school, she served as Managing Editor of the American University Law Review and taught constitutional law through the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.
Since beginning her legal career in 2005, Wendy has handled a wide range of family law matters, from complex trials to negotiated settlements. Over time, she shifted much of her focus from litigation to mediation and other forms of dispute resolution in order to help families avoid unnecessary court battles. She also serves as an advocate for children in contested matters and helps train children’s counsel in Maryland, strengthening support for young clients.
