His background as a certified public accountant gives him added knowledge when dealing with complex financial and tax matters. Along with advising clients, he regularly speaks to community and professional groups about retirement planning, wealth preservation, taxation, and business-related topics.
Wayne earned a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He later received a J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law and then earned an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. His advanced education in taxation supports his work in estate and business planning matters that require careful financial review. Wayne is also admitted to practice before several courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and multiple U.S. District Courts in Pennsylvania.
Wayne has also remained active in public service and community leadership throughout his career. He served on the board of supervisors for Silver Spring Township in Cumberland County from 1994 through 2005. During part of that time, he held the role of board chairman from 1998 through 2005. He has also been involved with organizations such as Pinnacle Health Foundation, the Eagle Foundation, and the Cumberland County Bar Foundation through past board service. His professional work has earned recognition from Best Lawyers in America for both Business Law and Trusts and Estates.
