Walker earned his Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Virginia School of Law. At Duke, he published research on surveillance and the Fourth Amendment. In law school, he served as Executive Editor of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology and was selected for a criminal defense clinic, where he secured a not guilty verdict for a serious drug offense.

Before launching his own practice, Walker worked at several top law firms in downtown Dallas. He later earned a federal clerkship at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. In that role, he drafted over 25 federal court orders and opinions and assisted with complex federal criminal cases involving drugs, immigration, sex crimes, and judicial corruption.

Walker has also worked abroad, spending time in Mumbai, India, as a visiting scholar with International Justice Mission, where he supported efforts to fight sexual trafficking and child exploitation. Additionally, he spent a year teaching over two hundred university students in China, gaining international experience that enhances his understanding of people and justice.

Walker is especially skilled in handling federal crimes, DWI cases, drug offenses, assault charges, probation violations, and juvenile offenses. His courtroom record and strategic mindset make him a powerful advocate for clients facing serious legal consequences.
