W. Dean Hester

W. Dean Hester is a highly experienced Texas attorney with more than five decades of practice in business, commercial, and corporate law. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has practiced in Austin, El Paso, and Fort Worth, advising clients on complex corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, and franchise law. His deep legal knowledge and analytical skill have made him a trusted advisor to businesses, investors, and professionals throughout Texas.

Mr. Hester earned his Juris Doctor and began practicing law in Texas more than 53 years ago. He has represented clients before several key state administrative agencies, including the State Board of Insurance, the State Banking Board, and the State Securities Board. His legal experience also extends to bankruptcy, municipal finance, and business litigation, allowing him to offer comprehensive representation on multifaceted commercial matters.

For several years, Mr. Hester served on the Planning Committee for the Annual Conference on Securities Regulation and Business Problems at the University of Texas School of Law, where he contributed as both a moderator and speaker. He is also known for assisting trial and arbitration specialists with complex corporate and securities law issues, ensuring sound strategies and precise compliance in technical cases.

Deeply involved in civic and professional organizations, Mr. Hester has served on the boards of the El Paso Rehabilitation Center, the El Paso Arts Alliance, the El Paso Community Foundation, and the Center for Volunteerism and Nonprofit Management. He has also contributed as a consultant to the Texas Collections Manual published by the State Bar of Texas.
