Victor J. Yoo is a highly skilled attorney specializing in tax litigation, tax controversy, and bankruptcy law. He has represented individuals and businesses in numerous civil tax court cases, handling IRS disputes, tax fraud investigations, sales tax audits, and innocent spouse claims. He represents clients in civil and criminal tax cases against the IRS, California Franchise Tax Board, California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, and Employment Development Department. His work also includes FBAR compliance, disclosure, and IRS criminal investigations involving foreign bank accounts.
Beyond IRS-related matters, Victor has defended businesses in large-scale tax investigations and represented out-of-state businesses against California tax audits. His clients span various industries, including electronics, aerospace, construction, auto, restaurants, internet retail, and U.S. military defense companies.
Victor earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law. He also holds a degree in Business & Finance from the University of British Columbia.
