About
Veronica A. Procter is a dedicated trial attorney who represents victims of serious injuries, wrongful death, sexual abuse, civil rights violations, and wrongful termination. A native of Billings, Montana, Veronica earned her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Arizona and her law degree from the University of Montana in 2011.
Veronica began her legal career at Matovich, Keller & Murphy, PC, focusing on personal injury defense, insurance matters, commercial litigation, employment law, and veterinary malpractice. Working with corporations, insurance companies, and business interests gave her invaluable insight into defense strategies, which she now uses to strengthen her work as a plaintiff’s attorney.
In 2014, Veronica founded Procter Law, PLLC, to focus on advocating for individuals and families. Her practice emphasizes standing up for victims who face powerful opponents, such as corporations and institutions engaging in reckless or illegal behavior. By fighting for her clients’ rights, Veronica seeks justice for individuals and positive societal change. Large verdicts and settlements often drive improvements in safety and accountability across industries.
Drawing on extensive state and federal courtroom experience, Veronica has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and successfully handled both jury and bench trials. Known for her strategic insight and strong litigation skills, she is a powerful advocate for her clients. Veronica is admitted to practice in all Montana and Wyoming state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Montana and the District of Wyoming, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Veronica is an active member of the Yellowstone Area Bar Association, Montana Trial Lawyers Association (Board Member), State Bar of Montana, State Bar of Wyoming, and the American Association of Justice. Outside the courtroom, she serves on the Board of St. Vincent de Paul and coaches the mock trial team at Billings West High School.
Veronica A. Procter’s commitment to justice and her clients ensures that she makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those she represents and the community she serves.
