Troy H. Gott

Troy H. Gott is a Wichita personal injury attorney who represents people and families facing serious injuries and wrongful death. His practice covers car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, hospital and nursing home negligence, defective products, and premises liability. Troy earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science, magna cum laude, from Wichita State University in 1986. He then earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Washburn University of Topeka in 1989. During law school, he served as an associate editor of the Washburn Law Review. He also wrote articles on lender liability and judicial review of administrative law. His education and journal work gave him a foundation in the research and analysis needed for complex injury cases.

Troy was admitted to practice in Kansas in 1989, Colorado in 1990, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in 1992. His cases can require close review of medical evidence, accident circumstances, and product defects. He works with doctors, nurses, and engineers when their knowledge can help explain an injury or what caused it.
