Tracey Han Zhang

Tracey Han Zhang is an associate at Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight in the Washington, D.C. office. In law school, she served as Senior Notes Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law, worked as a student attorney in the Georgetown Law Civil Rights Clinic, and served as a research assistant. She also received Special Pro Bono Pledge Recognition for more than 100 hours of pro bono service and earned CALI awards.

Before joining the firm, Tracey clerked for Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and Judge Gregory A. Phillips of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Before those clerkships, she worked as an associate at Cleary Gottlieb. These roles gave her experience with federal trial and appellate decision-making, complex legal research, and the development of arguments for significant civil matters.
