Timothy Scandurro

Timothy Scandurro is a founding member of his firm and a respected leader in business and commercial litigation. He focuses on cases involving business disputes, contracts, banking matters, and partnership issues. With decades of trial experience, he has represented clients across Louisiana in both state and federal courts, including high-stakes class action and mass tort litigation.

Timothy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Tulane University before earning his Juris Doctor cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1987. At Georgetown, he was honored as the top student in Constitutional Law and served as editor of the American Criminal Law Review. His academic achievements have provided a strong foundation for his successful litigation practice and appellate advocacy.

Over his career, Timothy has earned recognition for his excellence in business litigation, including being consistently named a Louisiana “Super Lawyer” and ranked by Chambers & Partners in General Commercial Litigation. He is also rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest standards of professional ability and ethics. Licensed before all Louisiana courts, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court, he brings extensive knowledge to complex legal challenges.

In addition to his litigation practice, Timothy Scandurro serves as a court-appointed mediator, helping resolve disputes efficiently for clients and attorneys. He has also served as President of the Plaquemines Parish Bar Association. Beyond the courtroom, he demonstrates his commitment to community service as Chairman of the Board of the Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans and has volunteered as a court-appointed special advocate for children.
