Timothy S. Martin

Timothy S. Martin is Chair of Operations at White and Williams LLP and managing partner of the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office. He is a litigator who advises clients through all phases of litigation and risk management. His practice focuses on complex civil disputes involving business matters, construction, insurance coverage, product liability, toxic tort, warranty claims, and the automobile and racing industries, along with other commercial and liability concerns.

Tim earned a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2004 and a B.S. from the University of Delaware in 2001. He is admitted in Delaware and Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. His education and admissions support a practice that combines trial work, counseling, negotiation, and multi-forum dispute resolution.

Tim has defended public school districts and private schools in general liability matters and sexual abuse claims. He has counseled large companies on contract negotiations, disputes, employment issues, and asset recovery, and he regularly represents clients in arbitration and mediation.
