He served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for more than twenty-five years, administering over 10,000 cases. Throughout his career, he has contributed to continuing legal education programs for organizations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute and the New Hampshire Bar Association, sharing his knowledge with fellow attorneys.

Now serving in an Of Counsel role, Timothy P. Smith continues to focus on bankruptcy and insolvency issues.
