Timothy M. Sweet

Timothy M. Sweet is a Rhode Island attorney who focuses on family law and related litigation for clients navigating difficult transitions. Sweet earned his B.S. in Political Science from Providence College in 2005 and his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2008. During law school, he received the Community Service Award for completing more than one hundred hours of meaningful pro bono legal work. Before founding his own practice, he gained experience in both public and private legal settings. He interned with the Rhode Island Department of Administration in labor law, later served as in-house counsel for a medical organization, and worked as a litigation associate before opening his independent firm in 2012.
