Timothy M. Harrington is a seasoned trial attorney and partner at Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., where he co-chairs the firm’s Criminal Defense Practice Group. With over 27 years of experience, he focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts and complex civil litigation matters. His results-driven approach has earned him widespread recognition.

Timothy received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His academic background and prosecutorial experience provide a strong foundation for his comprehensive and strategic legal practice.

Timothy is a licensed attorney in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts in all three states. His background includes serving as Senior Assistant Rockingham County Attorney, Assistant Strafford County Attorney, and Assistant City Prosecutor for Concord, NH—experience that gives him comprehensive, first-hand insight into how the criminal justice system works from the inside out.

Throughout his career, Timothy has been consistently honored for legal excellence.
