Timothy M. Harrington

Timothy M. Harrington is a seasoned trial attorney and partner at Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., where he co-chairs the firm’s Criminal Defense Practice Group. With over 27 years of experience, he focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts and complex civil litigation matters. His results-driven approach has earned him widespread recognition.

Timothy received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His academic background and prosecutorial experience provide a strong foundation for his comprehensive and strategic legal practice.

Timothy is licensed to practice in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts and admitted to the U.S. District Courts in all three states. His legal career includes service as a Senior Assistant Rockingham County Attorney, Assistant Strafford County Attorney, and Assistant City Prosecutor for Concord, NH—roles that enhanced his insight into all aspects of the justice system.

Throughout his career, Timothy has been consistently honored for legal excellence. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected to Best Lawyers in America for his criminal defense work in 2019, 2022, and 2025.
