Matt Boyd brings over 26 years of experience to his practice, offering skilled representation in both criminal defense and personal injury cases. Matt began his education at Hanover College, earning his Bachelor’s degree in history and sociology with cum laude honors. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 1999. That same year, he was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association, beginning a long and respected legal career.

Matt focuses his criminal defense work on matters such as DUI and repeat offender charges, drug crimes, weapons violations, sex offenses, and financial crimes. He also regularly defends juveniles and college students facing serious allegations. His deep understanding of both state and federal justice systems allows him to build strong, strategic defenses for each client.
