He has made significant contributions to the field, both in practice and scholarship, including authoring “Future Damages in ADEA Cases” in the Marquette Law Review and co-authoring “Wisconsin Employment Law,” a key legal treatise published by the State Bar of Wisconsin.
In addition to his practice, Timothy teaches “Public Sector Labor and Employment Law” at Marquette University Law School and has taught graduate courses in industrial relations at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He frequently lectures on union rights, labor relations, and employment law across professional forums.
Timothy Hawks has also served as a director representing unions on the State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section and was formerly its chair. His work is driven by a deep commitment to defending workers’ rights, maintaining collective bargaining power, and supporting unions in the face of evolving legal and political challenges.
