Tim R. Shattuck is a highly skilled litigation and intellectual property attorney. As a shareholder at Woods Fuller, he has represented clients in complex legal matters since 1994. Tim earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Augustana University and his J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to practice in South Dakota, as well as the Federal District of South Dakota, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.

With nearly 30 years of litigation experience, Tim has successfully handled a wide range of complex commercial disputes. He focuses on non-compete agreements and restrictive covenants, representing both employers and employees in multiple states. Tim also leads high-stakes trade secret litigation and has a strong track record in patent infringement cases, advocating for both patent owners and accused infringers in courts across South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Texas.
