About
Tim Moll leads the Business Services Practice Group at Rembolt Ludtke and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Working from the Lincoln and Seward offices, he advises families and businesses on estate planning, business planning, and tax-related matters. His broader practice includes agriculture, banking and finance, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, nonprofit organizations, real estate, and municipal finance, with an emphasis on practical planning and long-term legal and financial goals.
He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Concordia College in Seward in 1989 and a J.D., with highest distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1994. During law school, he served as managing editor of the Nebraska Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He later clerked for Judge C. Arlen Beam of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
His experience includes advising on estate and business planning, tax concerns, nonprofit and tax-exempt matters, real estate transactions, and financing issues. He regularly serves as bond counsel in municipal financing transactions and is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers. He also brings an academic perspective to his practice as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he has taught partnership taxation, corporate taxation, and farm and ranch taxation.
Tim Moll is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the Nebraska State Bar Foundation. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Tax Law since 2012 and has held leadership and presenter roles with the Great Plains Federal Tax Institute and the UNL/NCLE Estate and Business Planning Seminar. His combination of tax knowledge, business judgment, teaching experience, and community service helps clients approach complex planning matters with practical guidance.
