Tim George

Tim George is a dedicated advocate who represents people injured in car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as individuals confronting felony, misdemeanor, and DUI charges. He works to provide steady guidance, clear answers, and strong results for clients who often face unfamiliar and stressful legal challenges.

Tim built his academic foundation through a B.S. in Economics from St. Bonaventure University in 1989. He later earned his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law in 1992. This education prepared him for a career focused on litigation, advocacy, and helping people navigate difficult moments with confidence

Tim brings insight shaped in part by his service as an Army lawyer deployed in Iraq, where he learned to support Soldiers dealing with uncertainty and fear of the unknown. He uses that same steady approach when advising clients experiencing their first serious accident or criminal charge, ensuring they understand their options and feel supported.

Tim has earned significant recognition for his work, including an AV-Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a 10/10 rating from Avvo. He has also been named to the Super Lawyers® list for Criminal Defense from 2016 to 2022. Nearly one hundred former clients have shared positive reviews about their experiences working with him.

Tim devotes his entire practice to litigation and has represented clients in personal injury, DUI, and broad criminal defense matters. His published works, including A Roadmap to Justice and Defending Freedom, further reflect his commitment to educating and empowering the people he serves.

Tim George is also deeply committed to community service. He founded the Erie Veterans Free Legal Clinic, which continues to assist countless Veterans, and he supports local education and youth programs through volunteer work and board service, extending his dedication to helping others beyond the courtroom.
