Tiffany Joseph Goodson

Tiffany Joseph Goodson is the Managing Partner of HKM Employment Attorneys LLP’s Washington, DC, Arlington, and Baltimore offices. She represents employees in employment matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour class and collective actions, contracts, and noncompete disputes. With more than two decades of litigation and advisory experience in public, private, and in-house roles, she handles workplace disputes that can involve significant financial, professional, and organizational consequences for employees.

Tiffany earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Howard University. Her legal education provided the foundation for a career spanning federal government service, private litigation practice, and in-house counsel work. That varied background supports her current employment-law practice, where disputes can require analysis of statutes, contracts, workplace records, class or collective procedures, and employer policies. She applies experience from multiple legal settings to employee-side representation.

Tiffany previously served as Associate General Counsel at Freddie Mac, where she managed complex litigation including consumer class actions and regulatory-driven disputes. Earlier, she was a Trial Attorney in the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division and practiced antitrust and commercial litigation at private firms. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Judge Raymond A. Jackson of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Her current practice includes employment law, civil litigation, and class actions.

Tiffany Joseph Goodson is admitted in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She serves on the Board of Directors of First Shift Justice Project, a nonprofit focused on workplace rights for parents and caregivers, and belongs to several professional organizations. Her practice combines employment counseling and litigation experience with a background in government enforcement, commercial disputes, class actions, and in-house legal management. She represents employees facing complex workplace conflicts across the Washington metropolitan region.
