Thomas H. Brush is an experienced attorney who has concentrated his practice on foreclosure, collections, real estate, creditor bankruptcy, and matters involving real property since founding the Brush Law Firm in 1980. With over four decades of experience, he has built a reputation for effective representation in complex property and financial disputes.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 1976 and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 1979. His educational background prepared him to address the legal and business complexities of real estate and creditor matters, while also fostering the foundation for his long-standing career.
In addition to his legal practice, Thomas has been an adjunct professor at The Citadel Business School since 2003, where he teaches Real Estate and Business Law. His role in academia allows him to share his expertise with future business leaders, reinforcing his commitment to education and professional development.
Thomas is also active in professional and community service. He is a member of the Olde Charlestowne Sertoma Club and previously served as president of Sertoma International, an organization that supports individuals with speech and hearing disabilities. For over fifteen years, he has been a certified trainer and professional speaker for Sertoma, presenting nationwide on leadership and accountability.
Outside of the courtroom and classroom, Thomas H. Brus has served as a high school football official since 1985, dedicating countless evenings to local athletics. By combining his extensive legal practice, teaching contributions, and community service, he continues to make a lasting impact both within and beyond the legal profession.
