Tami H. Kirby focuses her legal practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, real estate matters, and commercial transactions. She advises businesses, financial institutions, and property owners on a wide range of legal issues while helping clients protect their interests and pursue effective solutions. Her experience spans both state and federal courts, where she assists clients with complex legal challenges and practical business concerns.
Tami earned a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati in 2001, graduating magna cum laude. She later received a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004, graduating cum laude. Her educational background provided a strong foundation for her work in commercial law, bankruptcy matters, and real estate transactions, allowing her to develop a detailed understanding of both legal and business-related issues.
Tami regularly counsels clients on creditors’ rights under the Uniform Commercial Code, the Bankruptcy Code, and applicable state laws. Her work includes Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters, commercial loan transactions, collections, and troubled loan workouts. She represents both large publicly traded banking institutions and community banks, helping them address financial disputes, lending matters, and recovery strategies with confidence and efficiency.
Tami also assists clients with the purchase, sale, leasing, and development of real estate. In addition, she advises businesses operating in industries such as education, health care, manufacturing, and commercial services. Her broad experience allows her to provide guidance on business transactions and legal matters that affect daily operations, long-term planning, and organizational growth.
