Thomas C. Damico is a highly experienced criminal defense attorney with a strong background in litigation. Thomas earned his J.D. from Louisiana State University Law Center in 1979. Before that, he obtained his B.A. from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 1974. His legal education and early career gave him the foundation to become one of Louisiana’s most respected criminal defense attorneys.

After graduating from law school, Thomas launched his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in East Baton Rouge Parish and was quickly promoted to Section Chief. His proven track record led to invitations to assist prosecutors in other jurisdictions.

In 1984, Thomas C. Damico transitioned into private practice, joining a growing law firm where he became managing partner and chief litigator. By 1989, he founded his own law firm, focusing on criminal defense. Over the years, he has defended clients facing charges related to violent crimes, federal offenses, drug cases, and white-collar crimes.
