He received his B.A. from the University of Dallas, Irving, Texas, in 1984. He later completed his J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1987, strengthening his analytical and advocacy skills.

Thomas concentrates his practice on Real Estate Law & Litigation, Construction Law & Litigation, and Business Law & Litigation. His work regularly involves property disputes, development matters, contract interpretation, and business conflicts. Thomas has also contributed to legal education by teaching Annual Law Update – Real Estate Law through The Missouri Bar from May 1, 1998, to May 1, 2000.
