Tawny L. Alvarez

Tawny L. Alvarez is a Portland and Boston employment attorney who advises employers on labor matters. She counsels organizations on wage and hour issues, pay transparency, equal pay, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, leave laws, restrictive covenants, drug testing, and supervisor liability. She also helps employers address artificial intelligence in hiring, remote work, workplace culture, and policy development while defending clients before courts and administrative agencies across the Northeast in complex matters.

Tawny earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Pace University School of Law and her B.S., summa cum laude, from Thomas College.
