About
Tara B. Nethercott is a Crowley Fleck attorney whose practice focuses on employment law, probate and estate administration, higher education, and commercial and trust litigation. Much of her work involves commercial and tort disputes, including matters involving computer privacy and the Federal Trade Secrets Act. Tara represents employers on ADA, FMLA, OSHA, harassment, discrimination, separations, reductions in force, handbooks, and benefits issues. She has handled matters in state and federal courts and before the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and the EEOC. She serves as Chief General Counsel for a local community college, advising on public contracting, student conduct, First Amendment concerns, employment issues, and other institutional legal questions.
Tara B. Nethercott has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Land Use and Zoning Law since 2021. She has served in the Wyoming Senate since 2016 and chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee.
