Tamran L. Amaral

Tamran L. Amaral has devoted nearly 15 years to practicing family law, guiding clients through divorce, custody disputes, restraining orders, and adoption matters. As a Certified Family Law Specialist, she brings extensive knowledge and practical insight to every case, working closely with clients to navigate some of life’s most challenging legal experiences.

Tamran earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting from the University of the Pacific in 1998, where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from Humphreys College School of Law in 2012. Before becoming an attorney, she worked as a family law paralegal for a decade, giving her a unique foundation in client advocacy.

In addition to her legal practice, Tamran has served as an Adjunct Professor at both Humphreys Law School and Modesto Junior College, sharing her expertise with future legal professionals. She is actively involved in professional associations, including the San Joaquin County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, where she has served as Secretary since 2017, and the Women’s Lawyer Section. She also contributes to the community as a Board Member of the San Joaquin Legal Center.
