Takura Nyamfukudza

Takura Nyamfukudza is a Michigan criminal defense lawyer and experienced litigator at Chartier & Nyamfukudza, P.L.C., who represents clients in serious state and federal criminal matters. He has handled cases involving attempted murder, criminal sexual conduct, wrongful convictions, and complex appeals. Takura earned his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January 2013, where he served as an associate editor for the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. His academic record included moot court honors, teaching assistant roles, a dean’s list distinction, and service on the Moot Court Executive Board. He also earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Purdue University in May 2010 before entering criminal practice.
