T. Ryan Lane

T. Ryan Lane is a solo practitioner in Aztec, New Mexico, who advises individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and established businesses on estate planning, business law, and real estate transactions. His work includes creating customized legal documents, structuring business arrangements, and guiding clients through property matters. Ryan focuses on practical solutions that reflect each client’s goals, protect important interests, and simplify complex legal decisions.

Ryan earned a degree in mathematics from a private Christian college in the Midwest before receiving his J.D. cum laude from Liberty University School of Law in 2007. While in law school, he served as editor-in-chief of the Liberty University Law Review. He later completed clerkships with Judge John C. Gemmill of the Arizona Court of Appeals and Judge James A. Teilborg of the US District Court for the District of Arizona.

Ryan helps clients prepare revocable living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and healthcare directives designed around family circumstances and long-term objectives. His business practice includes entity formation, liability planning, contracts, operating agreements, and asset purchase agreements. He also represents buyers, sellers, developers, and investors in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing arrangements, purchase agreements, and commercial leases.

T. Ryan Lane returned to the Four Corners region in 2010 and has operated his own firm since 2013. He is licensed in New Mexico and Colorado and is admitted before the US District Court for the District of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the US Supreme Court. Ryan has also served on the Aztec Municipal School District board and represented District 3 in the New Mexico Legislature from 2021 through 2024.
