Suzanne M. Gorowitz

Suzanne M. Gorowitz is a Miami workers’ compensation attorney and managing partner of Sadow & Gorowitz, P.A. She represents employees injured on the job and focuses on claims involving Florida workers’ compensation benefits. Her work helps injured workers navigate disputes over medical treatment, lost wages, and other benefits available under the workers’ compensation system. Her practice centers on representing claimants rather than providing general employment-law advice to businesses.

Suzanne earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1987, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and receiving recognition for student leadership. She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida in 1990. During law school, she made the dean’s list and received American Jurisprudence Book Awards in Professional Responsibility and Family Law. Her education provided a foundation for her work representing people through administrative and legal claims arising after workplace injuries.

Suzanne joined her firm as an associate in 1990, became a partner in 1998, and has served as managing partner since 2000. She has spent decades working on workers’ compensation cases for injured employees in South Florida. Alongside her casework, she has spoken to other legal professionals about ethics and professionalism in workers’ compensation practice. Her experience spans direct representation, firm leadership, and education within the field of workplace injury law.

Suzanne M. Gorowitz received the Friends of 440 Claimant Attorney of the Year award in 2002 and was a Florida Trend Legal Elite honoree in 2019. She served as president of Friends of 440 from 2013 to 2015 and has been a trustee of its scholarship fund. She has also mentored students through Take Stock in Children Miami. Suzanne draws on long-standing claimant representation and professional leadership to assist injured Florida workers.
