Susan Machler is a seasoned trial lawyer and partner at Osborn Machler & Neff, PLLC. For over two decades, she has focused her legal career on civil litigation and personal injury law. Ms. Machler has successfully handled complex cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, and wrongful death. Her extensive trial and arbitration experience makes her a strong advocate for individuals and families seeking justice after serious harm. She also handles appellate matters, writing and arguing legal briefs before state and federal courts.
Ms. Machler earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 1993. During law school, she was an editorial staff member of the law review and competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. She also published a law review article. Before attending law school, she earned a B.A. from the University of Idaho in 1980 and pursued graduate studies in English at the same university.
Ms. Machler is licensed to practice law in Washington and Montana and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals. She is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the Montana Trial Lawyers Association. She has served on the Boards of Governors for both WSAJ and the Washington State Bar Association and currently serves as vice chair of the WSAJ Products Liability Section.
Susan Machler’s commitment to advancing legal knowledge is shown through her contributions to legal publications and seminars. She authored two chapters in the WSAJ Products Liability Deskbook and regularly presents at legal education events. Ms. Machler also provides pro bono legal support to individuals with disabilities and those facing family law challenges, reinforcing her dedication to equitable legal access.
