Steven H. Linde

Steven H. Linde is the founding partner of Linde Legal in Coral Gables, Florida. His practice includes elder law, Medicaid planning, asset preservation, estate planning, life care solutions, probate, trust administration, special needs planning, guardianship, elder abuse and neglect, and related litigation. He helps individuals and families address legal, financial, and care-planning issues involving aging, incapacity, wealth preservation, and estate administration.

Steven completed undergraduate study in Accounting at the University of Miami and earned his J.D. from Northwestern University, Pritzker School of Law. He later completed an LL.M. through the University of Miami School of Law’s Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning, focusing on estate and tax planning. His combined accounting, legal, and advanced estate-planning education supports detailed work involving assets, taxes, trusts, and long-term care considerations.

Steven began his legal career in New York City as a corporate transactional attorney. After returning to South Florida, he worked in the private wealth services group at Greenberg Traurig, P.A. and later served as in-house legal counsel and trust officer for a Florida-chartered public trust company. This background gives him experience with transactions, private wealth planning, fiduciary administration, and trust operations.

Steven H. Linde has served as an adjunct lecturer at Barry University, teaching a graduate course on legal and ethical issues in occupational therapy. His professional background combines corporate law, estate and tax planning, trust administration, and elder law. He brings clients a practical understanding of how legal documents, financial structures, fiduciary duties, and care-related decisions fit together when planning for aging or administering an estate.
