About
Ashley Nicole Green is a managing attorney and Houston-area family lawyer who has practiced family law since 2015. She handles litigation, child-related legal matters, and dispute resolution as an amicus attorney, attorney ad litem, and certified family law mediator. Her work includes helping parents address children’s interests while navigating difficult family decisions. She also advises people dealing with the legal and practical consequences of divorce and other changes in family relationships.
Ashley received a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. At Washburn, she also earned certificates in family law and advocacy. Her additional qualifications include certification as a family law mediator and collaborative law divorce attorney, along with training as a family law and guardianship attorney ad litem. This education supports her combination of courtroom advocacy and approaches aimed at resolving family disputes.
Before becoming managing attorney, Ashley clerked for the 310th Judicial District Court under Judge Lisa A. Millard, the Harris County Attorney’s Office, and the Kansas Appellate Defender’s Office. These placements exposed her to court operations and different forms of legal advocacy. In family cases, she draws on her litigation and mediation roles to help clients assess possible agreements, prepare for contested proceedings, and address issues involving children and parenting responsibilities.
Ashley Nicole Green received Houstonia Top Lawyer recognition for 2016–2017 and 2019–2022. She belongs to the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section and Scribes Journal of Legal Writing. Her practice emphasizes candid guidance about what the law permits rather than promises about case outcomes. By combining trial preparation, mediation, and child-focused representation, she works to give clients a clear understanding of their legal choices during major family transitions.
