Steven D. Silverman is the managing partner at Silverman Thompson and one of the most successful trial attorneys in Maryland. With more than 30 years of courtroom experience, he has earned national recognition for his skill in both civil and criminal litigation. He is known for taking on high-stakes cases and delivering winning results in regional, state, and federal courts. His practice covers complex civil matters, white-collar and general criminal defense, class actions, and appellate litigation.
Mr. Silverman earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1991, where he received the Dean’s Award. He completed his B.A. at the University of Richmond in 1988.
Throughout his career, Mr. Silverman has helped thousands of clients, especially in criminal defense, where he has not lost a jury trial in over two decades. He is also trusted to lead in major civil lawsuits and was appointed by federal courts in national class actions such as the NHL Concussion Litigation and the NFL Painkiller Litigation.
