Steven Bell

Steven Kenneth Bell, Esquire, is a Florida DUI and criminal defense lawyer who defends clients facing misdemeanor, felony, traffic, and DUI charges. He has handled thousands of cases across Florida and has tried many DUI matters through verdict. His practice includes domestic violence, drug trafficking, violent crime, DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide, and federal criminal matters. He uses careful preparation, evidence review, and direct advocacy to protect clients in court proceedings.

Steven Bell earned his B.A. in Advertising from the University of Florida. He earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served on Law Review, published in criminal law, and joined the Order of Barristers. He also worked as a Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern with the Broward County Public Defender’s Office before joining the Florida Bar.

Bell began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, where he tried hundreds of cases and rose to felony and juvenile division leadership roles. He later entered private practice and managed criminal defense work for a statewide traffic firm in Palm Beach County. His experience covers DUI evidence, forensic toxicology, accident reconstruction, traffic offenses, serious felonies, and courtroom strategy in contested criminal cases involving liberty.
