Steven A. Goldman is a partner at Curran Moher Weis, P.C., where he focuses his practice exclusively on family law. He represents clients throughout Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia in divorce, custody, and financial matters, offering strategic guidance in high-stakes and emotionally complex family law disputes.
Steven earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Binghamton University before receiving his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School. He later expanded his professional knowledge by studying Behavioral Finance and Economics at the University of Chicago, strengthening his ability to address complex financial issues in family law cases.
Steven’s practice centers on complex financial disputes, high net-worth divorce matters, and international custody cases. He is also a recognized leader in collaborative divorce and alternative dispute resolution, helping clients resolve matters efficiently while maintaining greater control over outcomes and reducing conflict whenever possible.
An accomplished litigator and collaborative practitioner, Steven serves as President of Virginia Collaborative Professionals and is a Past President of Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia. He is also actively involved with regional and international collaborative law organizations, supporting innovation and professionalism within family law practice.
In addition to client representation, Steven frequently lectures on family law topics and provides continuing legal education programs for attorneys across Virginia and Washington, D.C. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where he teaches Pretrial Practice.
