Stephen Winig is a distinguished Florida attorney with four decades of experience representing clients in family law, business litigation, real estate, and foreclosure matters. Based in West Palm Beach, he has successfully handled cases from the Florida Panhandle to Key West, with a reputation for strategic litigation, mediation, and dispute resolution.
Mr. Winig earned his Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire in 1983 and graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany in 1979. He also studied at Union College and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1975 to 1977. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1983, he is licensed to practice in all Florida State and U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Winig’s practice spans a wide range of legal areas, including divorce, child custody and support, alimony, domestic violence, paternity, business dissolution, shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyance, and landlord–tenant litigation. He is also a member of Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC, and regularly handles residential and commercial foreclosure actions.
A strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Winig is certified as an arbitrator by the Florida Supreme Court and has served as a special master by appointment of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. He has been counsel of record in numerous published appellate decisions, contributing to Florida case law across various disciplines.
