Stephen B. Brauerman

Stephen B. Brauerman is a Delaware litigation lawyer who focuses on corporate, commercial, and intellectual property disputes in state and federal courts. His work covers fiduciary duty claims, corporate and alternative entity control disputes, advancement and indemnification matters, contract claims, antitrust issues, securities cases, and patent, copyright, and trademark litigation. He also advises clients on the Delaware General Corporation Law and the state’s alternative entity statutes.

Stephen earned a B.A., with honors, from Johns Hopkins University before receiving a J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law. During law school, he worked for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of Volume 55 of the American University Law Review. This academic experience strengthened his research, writing, and legal analysis skills.

Stephen has handled matters as both lead counsel and Delaware counsel. He appears frequently before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the Delaware Supreme Court, the Delaware Court of Chancery, and the Delaware Superior Court. He has also tried cases as lead counsel in the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. His courtroom experience allows him to address complex business and intellectual property disputes with informed judgment.

Stephen B. Brauerman has earned recognition for his work in commercial, corporate, patent, and intellectual property litigation.
