Stephanie Henderson Stocker

Stephanie Henderson Stocker leads the Employment Law practice group at Henderson Law. With more than 20 years of experience, she has built a strong record in negotiating corporate contracts and leading focused litigation teams. Her practice centers on workplace disputes, discrimination claims, retaliation matters, and wrongful termination cases, in which she provides strategic, results-driven representation.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 1998, majoring in English Literature and Philosophy. She later received her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2002. She was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2003 and to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington in 2014.

Stephanie began developing her employment law background during law school, working for two years as a Rule 9 attorney in the Employment Litigation Practice at Paine Hamblen in Spokane. She then served as legal clerk for Chief Justice Gerry Alexander of the Washington State Supreme Court. After her clerkship, she joined Carney Badley Spellman in Seattle, where she focused on Employment Law and Litigation. In 2013, she joined Henderson Law Group and built the Employment Law group from the ground up, resolving more than 250 employment law cases for clients.

Stephanie is active in professional organizations, including the Washington State Bar Association, Thurston County Bar Association, WA State Employment Law Association, National Trial Lawyers Association, and the Puget Sound Project Management Institute. Her honors include National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Plaintiff Attorneys inthe  United States (2019-present), Avvo Client’s Choice Award (2019-present), and multiple other recognitions for excellence in advocacy and legal writing.

Stephanie Henderson Stocker has secured significant settlements in complex employment cases, including multiple six-figure resolutions involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims under federal and Washington law.
