Stephanie Graff Newman serves as Counsel to the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, bringing over 30 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation. She focuses on helping high-net-worth individuals and business owners structure their estates to minimize tax burdens while aligning with their personal, family, and charitable goals. Her expertise includes navigating complex family dynamics to create smooth and effective wealth transfers.

Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University Law School in 1979 after completing her Bachelor of Science at the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1975. Her legal education and decades of hands-on experience enable her to provide insightful and strategic estate planning advice. She is admitted to practice law in both New York and Florida, allowing her to assist clients with multi-state planning needs.

Throughout her career, Stephanie Graff Newman has advised clients on various trust structures, including generation-skipping, spousal lifetime access, intentionally defective grantor, and qualified personal residence trusts. She also counsels on decanting existing trusts and structuring tax-efficient transfers of business and investment interests. Her estate administration practice includes post-mortem tax planning, helping clients achieve significant tax savings while ensuring a seamless transition of assets.

Before joining the firm, Stephanie spent nearly 30 years as a Partner at Newman & Newman, P.C. in New York City, where she earned a strong reputation for delivering strategic, personalized estate planning and legal counsel. She is an active member of both the New York Bar Association and The Florida Bar, continuously staying ahead of changes in estate law to offer informed, up‑to‑date guidance to her clients.
