Stacy Alexejun

Stacy Alexejun is a partner in Madison who focuses on product liability defense and intellectual property litigation. She represents clients in personal injury and product claims while protecting trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, and brands. Her practice reflects her respect for innovation and product design.

Stacy earned a J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School in 2009 and a B.A., with honors, in English from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2006. She also completed Harvard Law School Executive Education’s Women’s Leadership Initiative in 2024.

Stacy represents companies across industries, including vehicles such as electric scooters, cars, and motorcycles, as well as industrial equipment, health care entities, and software providers. She manages complex litigation, electronic discovery, depositions, mediations, and dispositive motions in court and arbitration proceedings.

Stacy’s intellectual property work includes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, cease-and-desist actions, domain disputes, and inter partes matters. She has secured summary judgment victories and obtained injunctive relief, and she has defended clients against strict-liability and negligence claims.

As a former clerk to Chief Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Stacy is well-positioned to handle appeals involving significant state and federal issues. She has briefed and argued successful appeals and enforced arbitration agreements in multiple jurisdictions.

Stacy Alexejun has received numerous honors, including inclusion in In Business Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and the Wisconsin State Bar Young Lawyers Division Outstanding Mentor Award. She is active in civic leadership and serves on nonprofit boards while mentoring young attorneys and supporting women in law.
