Stacey C. Rogers

Stacey C. Rogers is an experienced transactional attorney with Business Law Group. She focuses on real estate, corporate and business administration, asset purchases, probate and estate planning, and healthcare transactions. She helps small to midsize businesses, entrepreneurs, and property clients with practical advice, careful planning, and strong support.

Stacey earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Colorado State University. She later attended the University of Iowa College of Law, where she graduated with honors. Her business education and legal training support her work in business operations, management, transactions, and dispute resolution for clients with varied needs.

Stacey has closed thousands of transactions at many price points and levels of complexity. She advises businesses through many stages of the corporate life cycle, including M&A, business succession planning, tax-efficient structuring, and finance. She also serves many entities as outside counsel for business operations and planning.

Stacey has a broad real estate practice involving residential and commercial development, agent and brokerage matters, landlord/tenant matters, investment properties, vacation homes, boundary and use disputes, common interest associations, condominium and cooperative housing regimes, and agricultural law. She drafts and negotiates contracts, purchase agreements, leases, easements, and title documents.

Stacey brings added insight from her past work as a business owner and entrepreneur. She has also served as vice chair of her local planning and zoning commission, floor clerk in the state legislature, federal prosecutorial intern with the United States Attorney’s Office, and appointed probate court referee in Iowa.
