Sorin Panainte

Sorin Panainte is a founding partner and criminal defense attorney at Sorin & Pyle, Trial Lawyers in Holland, Michigan. He represents people facing misdemeanor and felony charges, including OWI, domestic violence, assault, weapons allegations, and other serious criminal matters. Panainte also helps clients with record expungement, driver license restoration, probation violations, and college student defense. He prepares each case for trial and focuses on protecting clients’ rights, freedom, and future opportunities.

Panainte earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2016 and a J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2019. His academic training developed a strong foundation in legal research, persuasive writing, courtroom preparation, and careful analysis of criminal cases. That background supports his ability to examine evidence, identify legal and procedural issues, explain available options, and build practical defense strategies for clients throughout Michigan.

Before entering private practice, Panainte served as a public defender, gaining direct experience representing individuals in an often complex and demanding criminal justice system. His reported case results include dismissals and not-guilty verdicts in matters involving domestic violence, assault, resisting police, concealed weapons, operating while intoxicated, and criminal sexual conduct allegations.
