Chris Noriega

Chris Noriega is the founder of the Law Offices of Chris Noriega in La Puente, California. He focuses exclusively on criminal defense and represents individuals before and after arrest, including during the pre-complaint stage of police investigations. His practice covers DUI, misdemeanors, felonies, drug offenses, violent crime allegations, traffic matters, and white collar charges. He helps clients understand the accusations they face, evaluate possible defenses, and protect their rights throughout the criminal process.

Chris earned his J.D. from Western State University College of Law after enrolling in 1999. During law school, he was named to the Honor Roll and received a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. He completed his legal education in 2003 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2005. His academic training, combined with extensive exposure to the criminal justice system, supports a practical approach to legal analysis, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy.

Before entering legal practice, Chris served in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton and was honorably discharged as a noncommissioned officer in 1986. He later owned Noriega Bail Bonds and worked as both a bail agent and bounty hunter, gaining firsthand knowledge of arrests, custody, and criminal procedure. His defense work includes challenging searches and seizures, identification evidence, police procedures, sobriety testing, and chemical test results while addressing cases ranging from lower-level offenses to serious felony charges.

Chris Noriega also contributes to outreach programs serving at-risk youth and young adults and has appeared as a guest speaker for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and community organizations. He regularly participates in continuing legal education to remain current on criminal cases, defense strategies, and courtroom developments. His military background, criminal justice experience, and focused defense practice help him provide direct guidance to clients facing stressful investigations and prosecutions.
